Welcome! I’m glad that you were bored enough to wind up on my blog! Please don’t take this blog too seriously, I do not have the time and energy to make it into a sustained and consistent project and it will probably end up petering out eventually. Maybe I won’t end up using it at all. I just felt that it would be a great tool to have if I ever need it. My (half-baked) idea is to use it as a platform to point out some of the ridiculous, wrong, and hilarious things that are posted to RJ. Sometimes a simple comment doesn’t do the trick.
My name is Mecharker B'chol Oz (pronounced Oiz). Like my namesake, I am unabashed about Avodas Hashem and keeping to traditional Judaism. In an 'in-your-face' type of way. I am quite unapologetic about tradition and get tremendous joy out of bashing those seeking shortcuts and reforms. I do not try to modernize Judaism to fit with current moral or social values. And what really tickles me is those that do so, have rebranded their Orthodoxy as 'Modern' Orthodoxy, yet have a big chip on their shoulder, so try to paradoxically justify themselves that those seeking to keep to tradition are in fact the reformers and Judaism has been practiced in the modern sort of way for 3,000 years! Who woulda thunk it!

Great job Mecharker, I love it!
I just stumbled upon your blog (after stumbling on Slifkin's recently and clicking on your profile) and I beg , exhort, plead and [insert every other language of entreaty ] to not peter out. Frankly it would be a crime to do so. Not only is this just the right answer to Slifkin's rants ( undoubtedly your type of content is what Chazal meant when they advised us Da Mah SheTashiv. I'm not being sarcastic) but it is also marvelously entertaining. And your writing skills are UNPARRALELED. A shame you don't write for major publication houses like ArtScroll or Feldheim.
BTW, is that a picture of you? The elusive Mecharker Bchol Oz??
