love how if you quote RMF instead of answer he pulls out the tayne that if you don't accept RMF on the sefer of R Y hachassid then it is pointless to quote RMF. bla bla bla....
is there any way of reading the back and forth normally without having to collapse comments etc?
Yes, like claiming in his latest missive that he wasn't dealing with a single "disputant," but with many, or even all, presumably including me. I was confused about this, because I don't remember ever bringing the Tashbatz as a reference. I think this gives me the right of rebuttal.
It's the same psychology behind Haman's desire to wipe away all of Klal Yisrael, because admitting his beef was with one man was beneath him.
You carry on the good fight, and prove it's not the use of the word "retard" that stings, but the truth.
By the way, given his latest post and the...is it okay to use this term?...butthurt (he used a different word)...he felt at you calling him "Sonei Torah U’Mitzvos" you must have struck a chord. I cited no less than Rabbenu Yonah that the term "Hater of Hashem" applies to the likes of anyone meticulous in mitzvos but begrudges our strong attachment to limud Torah, including him. He didn't flinch a bit and even boasted of being labeled such in a following post.
He banned me, despite violating no rules, which, once I was apprised of them, was careful to not do so. He let slide all sorts of actual rule violations constantly. Then slandered me, saying what I said was worse than Goebbels, or something like that. He's a pathetic liar who holds very tightly onto his grudge. It's not about free speech. Of course it's his blog. There are even laws on the books about cyberstalking (https://voxday.net/2023/01/14/to-catch-a-psycho/), and they are enforced. The utter hypocrisy, particularly in his latest post, about being a staunch defender of the right to express vitriol freely and reluctant banner are, well, sadly, a public display that he is making bad choices going further to the dark side. First, a hater of Hashem. But now, as you observe, an enemy of Hashem. As we edge ever closer to the Geulah Shlaima, there is a great birrur going on, after all. There is no more middle ground. But it is still not too late to choose differently. Personally, I think it's rather a badge of distinction that I was the inspiration for him to cross the line he did. I did wonder for a time if he would ban me, despite my care to adhere to the rules and even restrain my hyperbole. He seemed to tolerate a lot, which I thought was something worthy of respect. No more.
he wrote how he will start charging for content....
meaning you will have to pay him to hear him complain how it is assur to take money to learn.
( it is not a stira since what he promotes ain't torah, so even his rationalist poskim permit it....)
Good line! Don't be shy. Post it there!
looks like you are doing a good job.

Thanks! When you read the comments press on the bottom where it says '49 more comments' and it will load all of them at once.
"According to my disputants in this forum..."
