How does all that explain or defend with the censorship of Bunim's work? Classic yeshivish diversion there. Shall we spend the rest of seider arguing about the Artscroll work, and forget about the real topic of the disgraceful censoring of a book?

Oh, there's nothing to debate, I agree it's the scandal of the century. With the tremendous popularity of Bunim's work, and its inclusion in virtually all Yeshiva curriculums, we can only imagine the number of young men who spurned the workforce because of this devious censorship. It's a tremendous tragedy. But fortunately, the shocking recent development I uncovered shows the tide is turning.

More leitzonus. Haven't gedolei torah, ba'alei musssar, assoted chazal etc warned through the doros about leitzonus?

Classic example, like minyan factories, that chareidim ignore what they don't like, just as much as anybody else. Rank hypocrites.

Listen, all you do is complain. You complain about chareidim. You complain about bamba. You even complain about cholent and kugel. And here I thought, finally, something the anti-chareidim will be happy about. Irrefutable evidence that the cave-dwelling, backwards chareidim have finally embraced the benefits of modern society...in an ARTSCROLL book, no less! In the holy of holies, the pinnacle of chareidi intellectual achievement!...and you complain about that too!

Speaking of deflections, the mekor that you couldn't find is the Maggid Mishnah at the beginning of Hilchos Ishus.

I am aware, what took you so long.

He writes yichud b'almah is enough to make her his wife. Clearly in black and white. No zenus. Following the loshon haramam itself. And that is consitant with hilchos melochim.

The bo aleho lsheim ishus second halochoh to give chuivin of eishes ish when beis din ran the show and had shelitoh. Two dinim as they say. Otherwise you have an incomprehensible magid mishnah. Is it yichud or bo oleho?

A non Jew can't be stricter than a pilegesh or a zonah, for a yisroel for which there is no lav in the torah.

I am also not sure why you think a magid mishnah binds non jews anyway.

And anyway ishus for a non Jew still needs to be defined.

Don't bother with your yeshivish kwetching. I now learn non yeshivish style where words mean whay they say, And he says quite clearly yichud makes ishto (so no zenus) and bo olehu lsheim ishus triggers misas bd.

I suspect the reason for your delay in bringing the MM is precisely this dichui.

We ALL change things in different forms to suit generational change

The real issue:Does his family have a problem with the censoring?Perhaps they agree
